UVA Fluorescent Lamps for Nail Equipment

UVA fluorescent lamps for nail equipment are available in straight T5 and T8 tubes and folded PL-S and PL-L forms for devices specified around a 365 nm peak source. Each replaceable lamp must be matched to the equipment holder, ballast and cavity.
  • Space-Efficient Choices: Elongated and folded designs accommodate narrow or compact equipment compartments.
  • Defined UVA Spectrum: Output is centered at 365 nm for devices specified for this UVA source.
  • Keyed Connections: Different pin arrangements separate holder families and reduce incorrect physical insertion.
  • Field-Replaceable Source: A worn lamp can be changed independently from the equipment housing.

Product Description

Product Details

Product Construction

Low-pressure fluorescent discharge inside phosphor-coated glass produces the UVA output. End components locate the lamp mechanically and connect it to the external operating gear.

Selection & Installation Notes

Match the tube form, diameter, length, cap, rated power and circuit to the destination device before installation. The XGYT5-UVA-28W model name conflicts with its 21 W rated-power entry, so this value requires confirmation before quotation or production. Compare related options in our UVA and blacklight lamp range.

Recommended Application

Applications

  • Nail Equipment Lamp Bays: Serves as a replaceable UVA source in equipment designed for the selected lamp form, cap and ballast.
  • Photocopying Equipment: Provides the specified UVA lamp format inside copying systems built for the same physical and electrical interface.
  • Document Inspection Devices: Supplies UVA illumination in equipment designed to reveal fluorescent security markings.
  • Textile Fluorescence Testing: Provides UVA illumination for instruments that inspect fluorescent materials in textile samples.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Find clear answers to common questions about product specifications, model selection, applications, and quotation requirements. For project-specific needs, send us your target market, required quantity, and key specifications.

What products are covered on this UVA lamp page?

This family covers fluorescent T5, T8, PL-S and PL-L lamps for compatible nail and inspection equipment. It excludes UV-C germicidal lamps, insect-attraction blacklights, counterfeit-detection black-glass lamps and LED UVA tubes.

Can every model be installed in any nail lamp?

No. Match the tube form, dimensions, cap and rated power to the equipment holder, ballast, circuit and internal clearance before ordering.

Are the holder and ballast included with the lamp?

No. The product is the replaceable lamp only. The holder, ballast and complete nail or inspection device are separate equipment components.

What wavelength is specified for this UVA family?

The family has a 365 nm peak. Irradiance, exposure time and curing performance are not specified, so those requirements must come from the destination equipment and process.

Why does XGYT5-UVA-28W show 21 W in the table?

The model name and rated-power entry conflict. Neither value should be treated as confirmed until the exact model is checked before quotation or production.

Can lamp selection alone determine a nail process result?

No. Lamp form, cap, power and peak wavelength do not establish process suitability by themselves. Confirm the device, coating chemistry, exposure conditions and required result with the equipment specification.
