UV-A/BLB Blacklight Fluorescent Lamps

UV-A/BLB blacklight fluorescent lamps use black glass and a 365 nm peak for compatible fluorescence-viewing and indoor blacklight equipment. The family includes straight T5, T8, T10 and T12 tubes plus compact PL-S and PL-L forms.

Product Construction

The lamp combines a UV-A phosphor system with a black-glass envelope that absorbs most visible output. Straight T5, T8, T10 and T12 versions use bi-pin end caps, while PL-S and PL-L versions fold the discharge tube into a compact plug-in format.

Selection & Installation Notes

Select the lamp by physical form, tube diameter, overall length and holder interface, then confirm the rated electrical specification and compatible external control gear for the final order reference.
