Slim LED Side-Emission Panel

This 9 mm side-emission LED panel guides light from the frame across a flat optical plate, producing a slim profile in four metric ceiling formats. We manufacture the series for OEM/ODM commercial projects, with the panel size, rated power, efficacy target, CCT, driver and optional glare requirement confirmed before sampling.
  • 9 mm Side-Emission Body: Edge-fed light distribution keeps the optical panel shallow.
  • Four Metric Formats: Square and rectangular sizes cover several common ceiling-grid layouts.
  • Separate Driver Arrangement: The driver remains outside the slim optical body for ceiling-void installation.
  • Optional Glare Configuration: A low-glare option can be specified for screen-based and task-oriented interiors.

Product Description

Product Details

Product Construction

The side-emission assembly guides light from the perimeter through a flat optical plate inside a 9 mm panel body. A separate driver sits outside the optical body, while four square and rectangular formats share the same slim ceiling profile.

Selection & Installation Notes

Choose the exact panel format for the measured ceiling grid, then confirm support, cable routing and accessible space for the separate driver. Specify the ordered power, efficacy target, CCT, CRI, driver and optional glare configuration before sampling. Treat the listed power values as order options unless a field-selectable driver is specifically approved. For related low-glare and sensor-ready formats, compare our project-grade LED panels.

Recommended Application

Applications

  • Offices and Meeting Rooms: Use slim ceiling panels for workstation areas, meeting spaces and presentation rooms.
  • Corridors and Reception Areas: The 9 mm optical body suits indoor circulation and welcome spaces with shallow ceiling details.
  • Schools and Libraries: Square and linear formats support classrooms, study areas and circulation zones.
  • Replacement Ceiling Grids: Four metric formats cover common square and rectangular module layouts.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Find clear answers to common questions about product specifications, model selection, applications, and quotation requirements. For project-specific needs, send us your target market, required quantity, and key specifications.

How does a side-emission panel differ from a backlit panel?

Its LEDs feed light into a guide plate from the edges, allowing a 9 mm optical body. A backlit panel places LEDs behind the diffuser and usually has a deeper housing.

Where is the driver installed if the panel is only 9 mm deep?

The driver is separate from the optical body. Confirm accessible ceiling space, cable routing and driver mounting before installation.

Which model fits a 625 mm ceiling grid?

Use the 620 × 620 mm model for the corresponding metric module, but verify the actual tee spacing and support method.

Is the UGR < 19 option standard on every model?

It is listed as an option. Specify it in the order and verify the complete room layout because final glare depends on more than the luminaire.

Why does the 595 × 1195 mm model reach 72 W?

The 595 × 1195 mm format has a listed 50–72 W range, while the other sizes list 24–60 W. The final driver and output must be fixed for the ordered model.

What OEM/ODM choices are available?

We can configure the selected housing size, power, efficacy target, CCT, CRI, driver, glare option, labels and packaging after sample approval.
