Three-Height Open-Frame Solar Garden Bollards

XGYSGL-YH129, XGYSGL-YH130 and XGYSGL-YH131 are open-frame solar garden bollards in 800, 600 and 400 mm heights. Each model combines a top-mounted monocrystalline panel, 18650 battery, aluminum and PC construction, and IP65 protection.
  • Coordinated Landscape Scale: Use one exterior form to create a consistent family across primary paths and lower planting edges.
  • Unobstructed Diffuser Views: The lantern-style frame leaves the light chamber visible from multiple approach directions.
  • Off-Grid Route Placement: Self-contained charging supports projects where trenching power to each path marker is undesirable.
  • Serviceable Top Surface: The exposed charging face is easy to inspect and wipe around growing foliage.

Product Description

Product Details

Product Construction

Each version combines an upper photovoltaic module, suspended PC lens, 18650 cell and LED within a 155 × 155 mm aluminum skeleton. The three versions use the same square cross-section and differ by the 400, 600 or 800 mm overall height.

Selection & Installation Notes

Choose the overall height by the required sightline, adjacent vegetation and visual proportion. All three versions share the same 2.8 W rating and 70 lm/W efficacy, so a taller housing does not indicate higher rated power. Check the footprint, anchoring substrate and proposed spacing, orient the photovoltaic module toward unobstructed daylight, and preserve drainage and access for inspection. Compare related options in our solar garden lights range.

Recommended Application

Applications

  • Hotel Paths: Use the coordinated height range to mark pedestrian routes across hospitality landscapes.
  • Residential Walkways: Provide self-contained path-edge lighting without running a mains cable to each fitting.
  • Courtyard Edges: Place the open-frame bollards beside planting boundaries while keeping the solar top clear of foliage.
  • Landscape Seating Areas: Add a consistent lantern-style marker along approaches to outdoor seating and gathering areas.

Frequently Asked Questions?

Find clear answers to common questions about product specifications, model selection, applications, and quotation requirements. For project-specific needs, send us your target market, required quantity, and key specifications.

What is the difference between the three bollard models?

The models share the same 155 × 155 mm cross-section and electrical specification but use different overall heights: XGYSGL-YH129 is 800 mm, YH130 is 600 mm and YH131 is 400 mm.

Is 70 lm/W the lumen output of each bollard?

No. The 70 lm/W value is luminous efficacy, not total lumen output. Use a confirmed photometric result when a project requires a total lumen figure.

Does each bollard need a mains cable?

No. The solar panel, rechargeable battery and LED are integrated into each bollard assembly for self-contained operation.

How long are the charge and work periods?

The charge period is 6–8 hours and the work period is 8–12 hours. Actual operation varies with solar exposure, season, temperature, battery condition and the selected light setting.

How should the bollard height be selected?

Choose the 400 mm model for a lower landscape profile, the 600 mm model for mid-height path edges or the 800 mm model for a taller sightline, then confirm spacing and anchoring for the site.

Where should the solar top be positioned?

Place the bollard where the top panel receives unobstructed daylight, and keep leaves, dirt and growing foliage from covering the charging surface.
