IP44 Photocell GU10 Wall Light

XGYWL-1411-PHOTOCELL is an IP44 Class I wall light with two opposing GU10 lamp positions and an ambient-light photocell. Its 220 × 68 × 106 mm housing is available in ABS with a PC or glass optical component.

Ambient-Light Control: The dedicated photocell distinguishes this version from the PIR and standard XGYWL-1411 variants.
Opposed Lamp Positions: The vertical housing accepts one GU10 lamp at each end for upward and downward light distribution.
Visible Sensor Position: The photocell sits on the backplate beside the main cylindrical body in the verified mounting orientation.

What does the photocell control?

The photocell switches the two GU10 lamps in response to ambient light. Confirm the switching threshold and delay on the approved operating sample.

Can nearby lighting affect the photocell?

How is this version different from the PIR model?

The PHOTOCELL version responds to ambient light. The separate XGYWL-1411-PIR version uses motion detection, so the two models serve different control requirements.

What is required for the Class I installation?

Provide the protective-earth connection specified for Class I equipment and follow the approved local wiring and cable-entry method.

Can the IP44 fitting be used in fully exposed locations?

Use it only where the installed exposure is suitable for IP44. Maintain the intended wall orientation, cable-entry seal and enclosure assembly, and avoid immersion or persistent water jets.
